I am really happy with my Kaweco Student. I was pleasantly surprised at the weight and balance of the pen. I honestly didn't expect this pen to be such an excellent writer. I liked it so well, I ended up purchasing all three of the special edition decades. It writes well, feels good in hand and is a quality pen. The price point was excellent considering it is special edition.

Perfect pen. No issues at all. Writes first time and ink flow is very smooth with no skips. Very pleased.

This is my real first fountain pen, so my review may not be as insightful as others. With that disclaimer, what I can say is that I think the pen is slightly overpriced (I bought a "Sixties Swing" edition), but I still like it. It feels good in my hand, it writes cleanly, and I actually really like the color. At first it didn't perform too well (skipped and scratched), but after cleaning it and using a different ink it writes much better. Now it's cool, writes smoothly, and feels good. Bottom line: not bad.

This is a fantastic fountain pen! I wish I had known about it earlier. I would have been getting even more compliments ts. This particular color scheme is unlike anyrhing I have seen before: ivory barrel, a medium green pastel cap and gold-colored trim on the pocket clip, finial, band, grip and nib. It feels great and writes very smoothly. I think it deserves a upgraded name from “student.”

A Great Kaweco Pen....I picked up the 70's Soul Orange when it came available. It is a lot of fun to use. The Nib writes smooth and the balance and weight of if it are spot on as well. So, when I saw the two new styles - 50's Blue and 60's Green - I Just Had To Have Them!!!

I purchased the 70s Soul with an EF nib. It was fine but I eventually replaced it with a broad nib (060 replacement). I write very large so broad suits me better. The quality of the pen is fantastic. Being able to easily switch nibs adds value. The appearance is simple yet intriguing. I find it comfortable to hold and write with. Personally, this is my favorite Kaweco product. At this time I have mine inked with waterproof black to sketch over pencil lines before adding watercolor to my mixed media art. Since i have waterproof ink in it, I also use it to address envelopes. Versatile!
