Esterbrook Estie Fountain Pens Reviews
Big fan of Esterbrook pens. This is the pen I'm using with the adapter that lets me use the vintage Esterbrook nibs. Since the adapter section is black, I found using it in a black pen less visually disruptive TO ME. You could use it on other Esterbrooks, if a black section doesn't bother you.

First Esterbrook. Beautiful Nouveau Bleu. Very smooth EF nib. Always starts, even after prolonged rest. Nib sealing mechanism excellent. Minimal adjustment to mild pressure on cap screw closure. Good, full ink flow. Easily held, light in hand. Outstanding pen! Recommend without reservation.

This was my first Estie, and I'm hooked. I love everything about it, from the smooth, quality steel nib and its reliability to its weight and balance and its excellent selection of colors. It quickly became my daily go-to, and I go back to my Esties often. I also appreciate that gold nibs are available. Really good value for the money.

I love the seaglass pen as I do my other Estie pens.

I have a Blueberry Estie - and added the Sea Glass to the collection because of the color. But then I added on a whim the Journaling nib (stainless steel) and really love it. The nib writes like a small stub with a nice variation in writing. Really fun. And these models can switch out the old versions of the nibs using the Estie adaptor, which I have. Look forward to lots of use.

This is my 3rd Estie, so I'm obviously already a fan. This is my first with the journaling nib, though, and I love it. It's narrower than the usual stub (which I also have and love), so it's nice for writing in smaller spaces, but still with some variation in the lines. The overall pen shape is lovely, and comfortable to hold and write with. I've never had a problem with flow or hard starts in any of my Esties, and while I tend to rotate through my different pens for variety, I think I'll be keeping this one inked pretty much all the time.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for someone, but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting one for myself at some point. Just a lovely, beautiful fountain pen! Oh my goodness! Just incredibly stunning in Cobalt Blue with Gold Trim. If it writes even half as good as it looks, Esterbrook has a winner on their hands. Beautiful :-)

One of the nicest pens to use. The nib wrote exceptionally out of the box. A pen I highly recommend.
