Conklin Victory Fountain Pens Reviews
I love my new pen. I have it inked in a brown so I can tell that my only brown pen is the one which writes brown. And I love the magnetic closure.

I love this pen. Wet even flow from a quality nib. An everyday writer.

Actually not so impressed. This pen comes with a converter that replaces the standard cartridge. This converter often comes loose from the nib. Distracting at the least.

I have this pen, and a friend admired the way the teensy stub nib wrote. I was having a hard time finding this pen anywhere else with a stub nib--which I think might be an issue with Conklin? Anyway, I found it here, so I ordered it as a gift. I'm sure my friend will like it! I have thoroughly enjoyed it, as I usually do with stub nibs from Conklin. It has occasional flow issues with drier inks, especially if left unused for a day or two. But other than that, it's a very nice little pen and I love the way it writes.

This is a very handy pen, with very high quality at a great price. The spring loaded pocket clip is a really nice touch, as it holds well, and is easy to slide over the top of even a heavy shirt. The fine nib writes very well, and easily.

Conklin is one of my favorite fountain pen brands, so when I saw this on sale, I couldn't resist. It is a great pen. I bought it specifically to match a notebook that I use every day and I'm very pleased.

I got the blue one. It’s extremely gorgeous and is my favorite looking pen because of the blue color and also because of the clip. My only gripe is that the pen literally doesn’t post at all. The cap can sit on the top of the pen barrel but will not stay securely at all. Even when pushed down with significant force it pops right off. If I knew that it couldn’t post then I probably wouldn’t have purchased this pen. Since I have bigger hands, it’s hard to hold and to actually enjoy writing with it.

The overall design is stylish. The ruby red version is rich-looking. The cap needs a good tug to remove and does not post as securely as caps on other pens. The stub nib writes very wet but needs a flowable ink to write smoothly. The pen can be a bit scratchy if not held in just the right position. Don't be alarmed to see a small clear bead inside the converter that helps with the ink flow. The pen has a metal body so it has a bit of heft which some might feel makes its a bit unbalanced. The most disappointing feature is a sharp metal lip edge with the metal threads at the base of the body that digs into the middle finger right at the joint that supports the pen.

I wish I could write this with the pen itself. The nib is so smooth it is a joy to write with, and in addition it has an appearance and feel that suggests a pen of a greater price. This is not my only Conklin and from my experience, they make great pens.
