Fine writing pen,smooth flow and very comfortable in hand

The Mark Twain crescent filler pen I have also enjoyed. I have found the Conklin product to write very smoothly.
I enjoy a smooth ride as I move across the paper and the Conklins do that. I have found their stub nibs to be the smoothest in their price range and in fact smoother than some pens costing nearly twice as much.

This pen writes well and fills easily. I have been using for over a week and it has been flawless.

Fun Pen. Light and functional. I like that it holds a lot of ink but there is no way of knowing when you are running low. I ordered it with a fine nib and then bought a stub nib which I love. The fine also writes really well.

The pen is beautifully made, the guilloche on the body cut precise and clear. The gold plating is well done, and matches the black body superbly, providing as rich a visual experience as you do with the writing. I got the stub nib with this one. Though not rhodium and gold plated, the steel nib has a nice glide as it moves across the paper with a nice consistent coat of ink.

I really love these Crescent Fillers. I've got a couple of them now. The first one I ordered for fun and got a stub nib since I usually favor F and XF nibs because of the size of my handwriting. I liked the stub so much, I decided to get the fine point and see if it could work its way into my pen rotation. I really love the pen. It's a great writer. The steel nib is very smooth. These Conklins are a great value.

I just received my Mark Twain Crescent Filler Series pen. It is a fantastic writing instrument and has features not found in many other pens. The writing experience is excellent. The service and support from Ron Manwaring has been excellent. You couldn't do business with a better guy. I would recommend purchasing what you need from Pen Chalet without reservation.
