What can you say? It's a LAMY so it's quiality, period. Very easy to switch out. I changed out the nib on my LAMY Studio and I'm very happy with the 1.1.

I purchased a Fine replacement nib for my Lamy Lx. I like the feel of the Fine nib on paper better than the Extra Fine nib that I purchased with the pen. Both the Fine and Extra Fine nibs work well, but the Extra Fine is a bit scratchy which is expected. My handwriting is small, and it favors the Extra Fine nib. Also, I like the look of the black nibs.

I got this for testing. 1.5mm is a bit broad for my intended use (date headers in a journal) but a 1.1mm works just fine for that. This would be better as a nib for titles on a page. But it works just fine for putting down ink. and with a good shading ink the effect is striking. go ahead. you will like it for that.
