Taccia Ukiyo-e Fountain Pen Ink Reviews
Sabimidori is one of my favorite inks ever! Beautiful rusty sheen and a deep dusky color that’s either blue or green depending on the paper. It also is much more smear resistant than a lot of sheening inks.

This ink flows well in my BBB nib pen. It dries comparatively quickly, too. I’m on my second fill and have used it on multiple papers. Tomoe River really shows off the subtle chromatographic edges. Rhodia staple pad not so much. In natural light, I can see the beautiful sheen of this ink on my handwritten letters before I fold them up to mail. Highly recommend based on ink quality.

This ink is a gorgeous, deep blue-black. I don't tend to love inks in this colour range but this one really wowed me with its richness and sheen. consider me a very happy customer! <3

Wow! Perfect match for one of my Japanese pens and a pleasure on the paper. Very reliable. I have the dark blue.

I have 5 of these bottles of ink, the benitsuchi, the sabimidori, the fukakihanada, the akasukura and the koiame.
I love everything about this ink. The bottles, the box, the colors. The ties to old paintings (I'm a painter), in fact, some of the most famous paintings in Japan. The colors are very nice, koiame is a wonderful shaded orange, and akasakura is a great dark red. I had promised myself I'd only get these inks with my ink drop points but alas, the temptation was too great. I put this ink in my nicest pens because I trust the quality of the ink. I recommend..

The Taccia Sabimidori ink is a beautiful bluish green with red shading. The red will come out on certain papers only (Clairefontaine and Fabriano but not on Rhodia). Overall I love this ink. Great color and a flowy, well behaved ink.

Nice ink. Rich color with shading. Reminds me of a “redder” Diamine Ancient Copper.
