I tried some Kon-peki to see what all the fuss was about. Beyond being just a beautiful bright blue, the ink itself was a pleasure to write with - I never, ever had to worry about my nib drying out, even in a fairly dry pen. I'll likely sample more of these.

This is my first fountain pen ink and was recommended by Brad Dowdy from the Pen Addict. So far, I love the color and I have had no problems with using the ink.

I got a sample of Kon-peki. I see what I've been missing out on. This is an absolutely beautiful bright blue. It doesn't shade too much for me, but with a color like this, who cares? It's wet and smooth and just great to write with. Even better - out of a drier pen that can control the flow a bit, this even behaves decently well on some of the lousy copy paper I use at work. I can hardly believe how good it is. If I finish off this whole sample, I'll definitely consider a bottle.

I love this “Momiji” ink. It does capture the color of autumn maple leaves. Varies in shading between red, darkest pink and orange. Beautiful and unusual with all the wonderful qualities of Iroshizuku inks! Getting a bottle.

I've hesitated to try Iroshizuku inks because of the cost but now that I've tried this one I might have to splurge and buy a bottle. I'm using it in a flex pen and it is gorgeous! I hadn't used a shading ink because I didn't see a need for it but now I want more!Next think you know I'll be buying shimmering ink! LOL
