Pilot Iroshizuku Bottled Ink(50ml) Fountain Pen Ink Reviews
Beautiful ink. Wish it came in a smaller glass bottle and less expensive.

Not much to add - it's a Pilot ink, so it is great. Wet, lovely shade of blue and very smooth on good paper.

If I had to choose a favorite ink brand, Pilot Iroshizuku might be among one of of the top five. I’m a sucker for their packaging and the bottle is stunning. Their inks tend to be a little thinner than some brands but I prefer that for some of my fountain pens. Pen Chalet ships their inks so well I’ve never received a broken bottle. They’re always packed with care. And they have an ink club that lets you earn points for free ink! Win, win!

Ink is more on the wet side, moderate drying time, negligible seethrough on normal paper. The brown is more hinged on a dark sepia undertone. It is soothing to eye on general, though my personal preference is a bit more light and punchy shade of brown more like KWZ Capuccino or Robert Oster Caffe Crema.

Great pink/ berry color! My 3 bottle of a Iroshizuku ink & Yama Budo doesn't disappoint!

So far, for me this is THE MOST perfect ink I have bought. I like bright colored inks, and this has the right amount of shine and class (lets say it is not like a pink or electric pink in which sometimes for me feels too shiny or little serious). This is like a kings mantle, and the saturation is great. So far this is my favorite ink, and Penchalet has the best prices and a great service. highly recommended.

I have 3 bottles (tsuki-yo, shin-kai, syo-ro) and will be getting more. Just be aware that the swatches shown are a bit off in color and I checked several display options (different monitors, phone, etc).
Important for me is that the ink will write smoothly on paper that has coating, such as the colored blocks in my Monk Manual. Other inks (Monteverde bottled ink) tend to skip and smear on them.
