Noodlers Bottled(3oz) Fountain Pen Ink Reviews
different colours have different chemistry and qualities, research the reviews about your specific colours before you buy. Most of them are very good writers, excellent value, but not all colours are pleasing to everyone, and features like dry/wet flow and drying times vary a lot between colours.

First off, I have not found a Noodler's ink yet that gets anything but a good review. The color I chose here is Mata Hari's Cordial. I recently participated in an art project (Drawn Together) wherein they used natural inks. One ink was Cochineal. That's an ink made from an insect that lives on cacti. I loved the color so much that I tried it in a fountain pen. I knew it would ruin the pen so I used a free pen I had gotten. I just wanted to see how the color looked on the page. It looked fantastic.
What I did was hunt and hunt until I found a proper fountain pen ink that was the same color. Mind you, this Noodler's ink is not actually made from Cochineal, but the color matches as well as any I found. I wrote with it and was so pleased. If you are looking for that natural color, one that has been a dye and ink for thousands of years, this ink will give you that color.
As with all Noodler's inks the quality is high, the bottle filled to the brim (open slowly on a flat surface or you will spill), it dries quickly and flows smoothly. Beautiful!

Noodler's Apache Sunset should be in every fountain pen newbie's kit! Very versatile and best shading ink out there! Light, bright, yellow, oranges, dark reddish tones. Phenomenal!

I love this vibrant red colour. Not a "fast-drying" ink, but a lovely colour.

Baystate Blue. Most beautiful vibrant blue ever made. This ink requires it's own dedicated pen, I chose a Kaweco sport and eye dropped it.

Im left handed so Noodlers is my go to. This lovely yellow/orange does not disappoint! I like it better in a med point rather than an f or ef nib. You need the extra width of nib to get strong color. Noodlers cant be beat :)

Noodle's X Feather Blue will from now on be my main ink! I've been using this ink in one pen for almost 2 weeks straight it writes really well in all of the paper I've thrown at it. It has a small amount of sheen and it's very subtle. It's slightly harder to clean compared to the rest of my inks but it's very much worth it for the way this ink handles and looks.
