Form the vendor end of things: Pen Chalet knows how to ship! My ink was beautifully and thoughtfully packaged, with plenty of padding/packing peanuts. It arrived without a crack or a split or a drop of ink spilled. Shopping online was dead easy and pre-ordering the ink was even easier. Confirmation of order and of shipping date was prompt, making it easy to track the progress of the product to my doorstep.
The ink itself is a lovely apricot/orange that isn't eye-stabbingly bright. It's not as dark as Lamy Copper Orange, the LE ink from 2015, and it doesn't exhibit any metallic sheen. Its saturation is such that it doesn't have a lot of shading in an extra fine nib but it does have a good amount of shading in my swabbed samples and in places were it puddled. The edges of the heavier applications dried to a lovely dark color, nearly black. Not sheen, per se, but definitely something interesting is going on there. Because it's a Lamy ink, the flow is normal to a teense dry. I will have to load it in a medium-nibbed pen to discover if the flow properties change for the wetter. I just personally prefer fine or extra fine nibs and put up with some inks not flowing as well as others. That's not entirely the fault of the ink and more a fault in the user, so YMMV!
Overall, I'm am very pleased with Pen Chalet and my Lamy ink! Give them a try and see if they're right for you.

Couldn't say no for the special price! Not something I would use for taking notes or long writing, but I really like for underlining/circling my notes. Works great to bring attention to the page, really stands out.

This ink writes like butter, especially in combination with the Lamy. It's a medium rose, dark enough to be useful, no feathering and almost zero bleed through! Also, if you look at it in good lighting, there is a very subtle gold sheen. I love it!

An amazing pink! The quality and saturation is wonderful. It has beautiful shading and is a joy to write with. I need to buy a second bottle to have as back up because I know I will use this one all up.

This ink is a wonderful pink color. Mine did not shimmer nor sheen as much as I’ve seen others’ in online reviews. It’s still a good color. Flow is moderate to wet. Lamy bottles are excellent - you can get the whole nib in easy, and there’s included blotting paper for cleaning off your nib when you’re done.
