I have tried several Diamine bottled inks, and plan to try many more. Although I have liked all of the shades I have sampled, there are three in particular that I will never be without. Each is stunning on every paper I have tried it on, from Rhodia to Clairefontaine to 24 pound copy paper. These are well-behaved, fast-drying, and spectacularly beautiful colors. The first is Red Dragon, which is a medium-to-dark red that shines like lacquer. The second is Pumpkin, a rich, bright, and brilliant orange. And the third is Imperial Purple, a deep, royal and dignified purple. This is my favorite green ink. It is very dark without appearing black and even though it is dark, it dries pretty quickly. I have several Diamine inks and Classic Green and Oxblood are my favorites. Both perform well.
