The Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator fountain pens feature fun color combinations in the brand's classic true eyedropper fountain pen. Each pen is machined from solid bar stock and fitted with a #6 stainless steel nib.
The Opus 88 Koloro demonstrator fountain pen holds 4ml of ink, and the center rod of the popular eyedropper fountain pen design helps control ink flow and prevent ink from leaking from the feed or nib while traveling or while the pen is not in use. The mechanism's screw-down valve effectively seals the ink in the barrel (away from the pen's nib and feed), so the Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator is safer (to use and carry) than many other eyedropper-filled fountain pens.
The Opus 88 2024 Koloro Demonstrator fountain pen comes in a gift box and includes a glass eye dropper for filling the pen.
Note: The Opus 88 Koloro Demonstrator fountain pen will not post. The pen has been machined from solid resin therefore, the interior of the ink chamber has not been polished but has a cloudy look. The size for the stub nib is 1.5mm.

I got the Pink Demo in the EF nib. The pen is so pretty! The pink/purple/blue combination works so well. This is my 3rd Opus 88 pen (I also have the Halo and Picnic). I like these pens because they look great (especially the translucent/transparent ones), feel very sturdy/well made, write well, are easy to clean, have good sealing caps, and have nibs that are easily interchangeable.
The cap requires several turns to uncap/recap. This can be a little inconvenient if needing to write quickly. But I’ve found that this leads to a better sealing cap and the pen can be uncapped for a longer time before ink dries out. The nib is a black colored stainless steel but replacement nibs appear to be only in the silver color. It would be great if replacement nibs are also in black.
Pen Chalet had a great price on the pen (lower than other online shops that I looked at). They processed my order and shipped the pen quickly.
