Each year Pelikan introduces a new fountain pen ink for a limited time. The 2020 Edelstein Ink of the Year, Moonstone. Following the gemstone for which it has been named, Moonstone ink is a silver-grey color. This years ink will also come with a matching silver matte cap.

Lovely bright red with an orange slant. A little dry, but beautiful in a wet nib. Not a lot of shading, but a little bit. No sheen to speak of. Cleans quite well.

Pelikan inks can be dry but this behaves quite well and is a lovely color. Somewhat similar to other red pinks but really good value for its quality. Always good in a Pelikan pen and works well in a larger nib with other pen types.
