So, I got the pen from Pen Chalet, a long wait for it to reach me in New Zealand. Aurora has changed the pen design since I saw it on Pen Chalet's site. The centre band is solid plain gold coloured metal as opposed to the original black and gold band where the writing stood out. It might sound trite but for me the design change made a classy looking pen look like a plastic throw away - I did not like it at all and I didn't want to own it. That said, the pen is light as opposed to hefty and has a wonderful assured positive 'snap' as it's posted and closed. Nice item, but not the design I wanted.
So, I had a pen to return and Ron made this so easy and painless that I was left feeling "thank goodness I'm dealing with Pen Chalet". Being in NZ means we buy online 'a lot' and dealing with people like Ron in PC is so reassuring. I won't be going anywhere else for my collection...
