The Stipula Leonardo DaVinci Capless fountain pen is simply elegant, featuring Stipula's patented and innovative capless opening mechanism. The innovative design featuring the twist retractable 14k nib created by Stipula is a tribute to the master artist and engineer, Leonardo DaVinci's, genius. By turning the barrel of the pen, the metal half-moon opens, and the nib is gracefully extended into position for writing. To "close" the pen, simply twist the barrel in the opposite direction.

The Stipula DaVinci Capless fountain pen in Mars Black is black lacquer paired with rose gold trim and fitted with a 14kt gold nib. The Stipula logo and Davinvi's signature are engraved on the barrel.

The Stipula Leonardo DaVinci Capless fountain pen in Olive wood is a numbered limited edition with a pen body crafted from solid Olive wood paired with gold trim. The clip is cast with depictions of faces shown in DaVinci's Studies of Man. The Stipula Leonardo DaVinci Olive Wood fountain pen is limited to just 519 pieces (a reference to DaVinci's death in 1519). The Olive Wood fountain pen is fitted with a 14k gold semi-flexible nib.

The Stipula Leonardo DaVinci Capless fountain pen uses a cartridge converter filling system compatible with standard international-size ink cartridges and converters. The pen includes one converter (already installed in the pen) and one ink cartridge. Pens are packaged in the classic red Stipula pen box with information on the pen, the brand, and using Stipula fountain pens under the false bottom of the luxury pen box.
