The Pelikan Pelikano fountain pen is a Pelikan classic with an updated look! Each Pelikan Pelikano fountain pen is fitted with a high quality, stainless steel nib with an iridium tip. The design update includes a new ink viewing window ideal for monitoring ink level, a new section piece that matches the color of the pen's barrel, and a tried-and-tested gripping zone for effortless writing.
Pelikan Pelikano fountain pens also feature a high quality metal cap with roll-away protection and a variety of trendy, glossy finishes.
Pelikan Pelikano fountain pens are German-made cartridge filling fountain pens and are compatible with Standard International size ink cartridges.
Each Pelikan Pelikano fountain pen includes one ink cartridge.

Writes well. Out of all the different brands of fountain pens, this pen is the only one that had part of the clip break off after a couple of months of minimal use, and I store my pens after each use to protect them. Disappointed in the quality.

My is writing with the recently purchased red pen. She initially had a little difficulty removing the cap, but all is well now. The pilot pen remains gift wrapped (thanks), until her birthday. I will keep you posted and hope to buy more in the future.

Most vendors only offer this student/starter pen with M nibs. The European M size is broader than I prefer, so I was excited to see it offered with an F nib. The only issue I have with this design is the plastic clip, which I know from experience has a potential to break.
