Red Ystudio Brassing Portable Ballpoint Pens

This pen was a real disappointment. It looks beautiful and I was very excited to have the options of both a necklace and a shackle, but those are pointless if I can't use the pen. Twisting the body to release the tip of the ink replacement frequently causes the pen to separate into two pieces. Sometimes it just spins uselessly; sometimes the ink will not retract and dries out so I have to replace it too often. I had the idea that perhaps it needed a spring inside to control the ink, so I added one. It didnt help and now I have a spring stuck inside the pen! If I push down on the tip of the ink, it will pop back inside, but this can't be good for the point. The instructional diagram inside the box doesn't mention any of this. While the pen is pretty, it is too inconvenient for frequent use. (I ended up tying it to the notepad on my refrigerator for grocery lists; I did not spend over $100 for what should have been a signature pen for this!)
