Absolutely beautiful. I have someone walk in and they saw me writing with it and we’re in awe at how beautiful it was and made. The details and design.

This is the pen I would buy for everyday use at work if I worked in a field where a fountain pen could reasonably be used. It's understated, and about the size of a ballpoint pen, slender and not too long. It's a good working pen, not overly heavy, not flashy.

GREAT pen and very much a unique look! Popped the cartridge in (I don't think a convertor is even offered; might be wrong)and it was ready to write by the time I had the barrel back on. Nice clean lines, maybe a little broader than some of my other Fine nib pens. The knurled metal barrel posts easily, fits my hand perfectly and I do love the look of that black nib! All in all, a great pen!

Having been a Formula 1 Ferrari fan for years, I thought it would be great to have a Ferrari pen. The Townsend is just the right Ferrari Red color, weight of the pen is very comfortable, and Cross refills are reliable. Love it!

This pen reminds me of pens of the 1980s, especially when Chinese cloisonné objects were popular. It's a comfortable pen for my hand.

So like most purchases, there is a story behind this one. I work in a mental health treatment team, helping people with severe mental illness. We just named our team name the "Jedi" and I wanted to have something to show the patients from Star Wars.
I also love fountain pens, so I grabbed one!
I've been generally impressed with this mixed heritage luxury pen.
The design is from Disney for Star Wars, the pen design is from Cross in Rhode Island, the nib if manufactured by Sailor, and is exquisite. The barrel and cap are metal, nicely finished, plastics/"lacquer" as cross refers to their plastics are manufactured, finished, and assembled in China. The Swarovski crystal from Austria.
Cross has outsourced its construction, but the factory is doing a fantastic job in China. Bravo!
High quality all around, no burrs, and the nib is excellent.
So for an all arounder, that I'm not afraid to bring to work. I highly recommend, but what do I know? I'm just a happy guy with a new pen.
Converter was included, and a nifty solid plexiglass stand.
Now if you don't mind Dun dun dun, dun, dun, dun. vader music....

Ok. I ordered this in Fine and it writes like a medium. I love clean fine lines and just couldn’t get used to the thicker lines. Other than that the pen is absolutely beautiful and writes so smooth, like butter. It is a beautiful. Other than the thicker lines in the nib size it is a beautiful pen.

This was a gift for my wife on Mother's day and she loves it. She likes the clean sleek look. Of course, it writes smoothly and is comfortable for her.

It's a cross. Nobody has ever gone wrong by buying a cross.
I'm a fan of the Century and Century II designs. This pen has a porous surface which I like. It keeps the pen from slipping in your hand. Elegent and durable.
