This is the pen that is for those who don't want to use a fountain pen or a ballpoint/rollerball pen, and still be able to use standard fountain pen ink. Better than the disposable fiber tip pens typically sold today.

The Metis Fiber Pen I received was just as it was advertised. I am very happy with the pen. What was more impressive was Pen Chalet's service. I ordered the pen on Friday and it was delivered on Monday. Absolutely amazing.

I like the felt tip pens as they can be rinsed out and a new ink used. The tips are well made and have not "fuzzed" out or separated. I use these pens a great deal at work when I cannot use my fountain pens.

I bought a bunch of these due to the pricing. I am glad I did. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pen - well the nib itself. I used both the .8mm and 1.0mm nibs and they write lovely. I did find that if I use bottled ink in a refillable cartridge it seems that the ink is smoother for some reason and does not dry out quickly should I leave the cap off by accident.
The pen itself is a nice hard plastic (?); the cap stays put and has a nice "snap" when you close it so there is no fear that the lid will come off in a purse, briefcase, or pocket. It is well worth buying a few if like me, you use different colors at the same time.

I love this nib. I normally do not use anything larger than .7mm; I bought this and the pen as a last minute purchase and the nib lasts against my co-worker and his hard hand writing. The ink flows nicely and there is no skipping. I left the pen cap of for about 10 minutes and it did not dry out. It is easy to rinse out and use another color. I did find that if I used the bottled ink in the refillable cartridge the ink flowed easier and smoother. So, you may want to try that. I will buy more pens with this nib as well as the .8mm nib. I am glad that I bought this nib and the pen.

Like all Yookers pens this is a great writer. I suggest you purchase the pen you like the best as all of the Yookers have the same tip. This pen has a magnetic cap. Magnetic caps are not as secure as screw-on caps but they are quick to uncap and start writing with. I wonder if Yookers will continue to make so many models as the tips are not interchangable with the different models of pens so if you purchased one of each pen style as I did you'll have to buy a bunch of different replacement tips...I think this may be good for Yookers profits but certainly not appreciated by the end user...me.

I really like this pen as well as all the Yookers pens. I'm wondering if the large cap is contributing to the early drying out of the tip. I find all of the Yookers fiber tipped pens excellent writers and I recommend you get the one you like as they all write the same.

I enjoy using this pen. I've been using Noodler ink with success as the main issue is the drying of the tip when not used for a period of time. This does not replace my other types of pens but rather it supplements them. Unfortunately the .8 mm tip is the finest they offer but it's sturdy and it seems like it will be long wearing.

The 1.2 mm was a tad big for my taste, but the 1.0 mm was perfect. It writes exactly like a felt tip pen, but has much better feel in hand. This is a great little pen that I would happily purchase again. Great price and lightning fast shipping.

I am blown away with how cool these pens are for the price of 2 Starbucks double soy lattes. Writes smooth and effortless. SO much fun to change out the ink color when you want to add a little color to your writing but not drag your fancy fountain pens around. Let someone borrow it and they will be ordering themselves one just like it. Will be getting more of these. Oh yeah, and Pen Chalet customer service is amazing as always.
