Not quite what I was hoping for - as all my fountain pens are too wide to fit into this case. I am, however, able to use this to house a Staedler mechanical pencil which often gets lost in my work bag. So while it did not meet my initial need, it did fill a gap I had but didn't realize this would fill.

Frankly was disappointed in this pen case as it is being made smaller now compared to the one I purchased before. It barely fits one pen and is too tight. Aston needs to look into what is happening with their quality control or who changed the design. Leather good quality but sewn too small.

This slip is for small pens only, at least the one I received is. The quality is top notch though. One of my Platinum 3776C fountain pens was a very tight fit indeed, and the 3776C is considered a relatively small pen. I won't use the 3776C in the slip for fear it will cause brassing from friction over time. I did find a use for the slip though, now it holds Pelikan K600 ballpoint that I occasionally use for carbons and signing documents.

The leather is a little thick for a pocket clip. It is too long for my pens (most of my pens are sharpie size) I hope to stretch it out to accept a larger barrel pen that has the length to fill the slip. The quality is very nice.
