I love these so much, I just bought a 2nd one as my pen collection is growing. The leather is of fine quality and I love the black velvet interior which makes your pens just sparkle when you open the case. It’s a perfect size to stick in a bag, briefcase or carry on. Love Aston products!

The brown 10 pen case was worth a 2 month wait! It's gorgeous. Secondly the case closes with thin or thick pens. The elastic holds the pens better than long single pieces of elastic. Pens easily go in and pull out of the elastic.

I bought the cognac variant. Good quality zipper, nice felt lined case with a felt divider that lies between the 2 rows of pens when it's closed up. My only grouse with it is: the height is a tad less. Of course it fits longer pens but when you have to take one out you have no choice but for the pen to scrape against the zipper as it comes out of the elastic holders. I'm always worried they'll end up getting scratched during that. Very functional and stylish case.
I went through a lot of issues trying to get the shipment outside the US and Ron was there all the while sorting out the problems and I'm grateful for his support (in spite of my many emails and calls to him with loads of probably impertinent questions and difficulties I was having).

Two things need to be said: first, of the four or five dealers from whom I buy pens, Pen Chalet's service was in every respect exemplary, amazing, over-the-top. This was my first experience with them and I have every intention of making it not the last. Second, as to the case itself: it's well-made and nicely packaged but not suitable for large pens. I bought it for my utilitarian fountain pens--Lamy Al-Stars and Safaris, mostly--and it is so strained when I zip it closed that I fear for its life. It can be made to work with some Deltas and Mont Blancs, but I can't recommend it for someone who likes oversized pens.

It's nice, but it won't close with 10 fountain pens inside. Maybe 10 ballpoints, but 10 lamy safaris, nope.
