Pelikan Tradition 200 Collection Fountain Pens Reviews
I love my Pelikan 200 green marble. It is the smoothest pen I own. It is beautiful and perfect for my smaller hands. This is my first Pelikan and it will not be my last. Great price for a piston filler.

I have become a bit of a fountain pen collector. My mother gave me a Cross Townsend FP for my HS graduation abs I loved it. Since I have collected several more Cross FP and Roller Balls. This was my first Pelikan and I must say I am loving it. The pen is lighter, smaller, and I think, more versatile. Due to its lighter nature and resin construction I feel more confident taking it with me places. I love the piston filling. It's my first. No cartridges or converters to mess with - just dip it in the ink and twist the end and boom the pen is filled and ready to write. I got the fine nib and love how smoothly it writes especially for a fine nib as they can sometimes be scratchy. It being as light as it is took some getting use to as I'm accustomed to the heavier Cross metal pens. Almost in all in extremely happy with this pen and would recommend it.

Great writing instrument. I was surprised how smoothly the EF nib writes out of the box. I looking forward to writing a lot with the pen!! I fully recommend it.

Once you get started using a Pelikan I guarantee it will become a favorite. The 200 is almost identical to the 400 except on the 200 the nib is steel instead of gold. But I have never had a pen - gold or steel nabbed - that writes more smoothly. This is a wonderful pen at a good price.

The pen was brand new and in great shape. I was orginally sent the wrong color, but Ron was very responsive when I called and they expedited the right pen to me and sent me a shipping label to return the first pen. I am happy with my purchase and will use Pen Chalet in the future.

The Cognac is a beautiful pen and the steel-plated EF nib is a lovely, smooth writer. Maintenance is a breeze and ink capacity is good. It is a pen for beginner and veteran FP users that cannot be recommended enough.

The clear Tradition 200 fountain pen is a great pen. The nib is smooth and simple, and can be interchanged with other 200 series nibs. The pen is small and light and posts deeply and snugly. It's easy to clean and care for. It's a very entry into the Pelikan line. The clear body is really nice for viewing and showing off the colour of ink. Give the pen a clean with some water and dish soap before use to remove machining oils from the feed, to offer the best ink flow. Nib offers some spring and line variation, which highlights shading in the ink. It's a very nice experience overall.

This is about the M200 Cognac. It is fabulous. It is an extremely smooth writer. I have the clear demonstrator, too. It is a clone. This little Pelikan comes highly recommended.
