Nemosine Singularity Fountain Pens Reviews
The clear pen doesn't work, however, they refunded the cost. The black singularity is good.
The staff, Jen and Ron very professional and helpful.

An inexpensive pen that writes as smoothly as a pen costing a lot more. I was surprised at the smoothness and non-skip performance of this pen. It has a convertible ink siphon and disposable ink cartridges. I was under the impression that the pen came with a number of standard size cartridges. However, it shipped with only the siphon but I am still pleased with the performance. Eventually, I may order the cartridges and I am sure I will also be pleased with the pen's performance

Nemosine is interesting to me because it's an intelligent, low-cost approach to fountain pens with great style. Pen Chalet gets 5 stars for an interesting newsletter, great discounts, and delivery on time. I wanted to try a screw-on cap because I use snap caps. The threads do bother me and I won't buy another pen with them. I wondered if my Waterman black ink was poor ink, or if my pens were worn--it's the ink. I plan to use the Nemosines to test ink samples, as back-ups, etc. They are a lot of pen for the money with great nibs. I think disliking threads is a personal thing. At $10 they're worth a try.

The basic requirements for a fountain pen, in my view, are these: its flow of ink is dependable; and its nib enables the writer's hand to glide with a minimum of effort. Although the Nemosine clear plastic pen is quite plain to look at, it seems sturdy. What's more, it's easy to fill, as I prefer, from a bottle. For the price it's an excellent pen, superior to -- less tempermental than -- some other, far more expensive pens I've purchased.

I want to like these pens, but there seems to be a little bit of inconsistency of nib quality and the plastic used on the feed. J Herbin inks do not like this setup which I find odd. Robert Oster & Sailor inks seem to do just fine as long as you're "using the pen". Nib section seems very quick to dry out and the pen needs a little help to get started again. Found that lightly touching the nib to water helps get things going again, without having to prime it from the converter. Lubricated inks should do well. Fun pen if you like to tinker and play around with. Plastics used between the barrel & grip seem to lubricate themselves? A few times now the grip will start to unscrew or be loose when uncapping. Great when on sale. Leave 3 of these at work. Won't panic of one walks away.

Should have known better...At $7, I thought this would be a steal but in reality was a waste. Nib and feed stay aligned for about 3 words and then becomes very scratchy. Hand cramp within minutes of use.

The feed is definitely the heaviest flow of any pen I have, to the point that I absolutely have to store it upright.

Now that Jen helped me load the ink cartridge successfully, I am enjoying the new pen. It writes smoothly and is very lightweight--easy to use.

Its a little flexy due to the construction (at least it is to me) but it is my every day writing pen at work. Not sure if its the pen or the fact that I switched to fountain pens, but my penmanship is improving everytime I use it :)
