I got the "Factory" colorway. I really like the way the pen looks. It just saved me about a thousand dollars, because it's somewhat similar to the Zepp pen in appearance, and I like the style as much as (if not more than) the Zepp pen. I have another Aero in Antique Rose with the gold nib. Of course I like the gold nib more, but (surprisingly to me) I like the overall look of the "Factory" much better.

Perhaps one of the most pleasant surprises I've had in a fountain pen purchase. The matte gold isn't ostentatious and the nib competes with pens of a much higher price range with ease. The Diplomat has become one of my immediate go to pens. Arrived in perfect working order.

I bought the factory finish of the Aero & all i can say is WOW! The shine of the aluminum finish is well polished, precision cut flutes, nice black contrasting clip & grip section, but the EF steel nib is the pièce de résistance/icing on the cake/star of the show! I didn't know if reviewers/influencers were hyping up the STEEL nib to be as wonderful as it is, but the deal i got on Fountain Pen Day including my military discount made it too hard to ignore! This is easily the smoothest EF nib i own; for reference i own around 50 pens, 11 are EF; this still beats the EF gold on my daily carry Pilot E95 in my wallet. Super satisfied with the purchase!

There is so much excellence in this pen, it’s hard to even start a review. Well, the nib is superb— very smooth with just a hint of feedback. The anodization is without blemish, and the color looks great. The click when one caps the pen is almost worth the price just by itself— wonderful fit and finish. The section, although metal, is not slick at all, so it’s good for longer writing sessions.

I had heard that the Aero was worth the price, but was doubtful. When the opportunity arose to get one (green), I decided to go for it. I was delighted to discover that this really is a great pen with a quality build. Very happy I made the investment.

This is a beautiful aluminum pen. Reminds me of the Art Deco era. Has a nice weight,feels comfortable,posts and writes wonderful. If your in the market for a metal pen give this model a look.

I used fountain pens when I was in grade school but have not since then. Bought one for myself and for my son. Aero writes so smoothly and I really enjoy using it. We have the fine tip and it is not too small for my daily use.

This pen writes like a dream. I use it mostly unposted and it's not heavy and flows well. I have them in several colors and nib sizes, and enjoy the writing experience.

This is a very unique pen that performs very well. It's not the largest pen in my collection, but definitely the heaviest, which makes for an "unbalanced" feeling sometimes. That's not a defect, but just a combination of weight and shape that I'm just not used to yet. That said, it provides an excellent writing experience -- the fine point nib is generous and dependable; no complaints there. I'm very happy with this purchase.
