I have not used it yet in a fountain pen.
I have looked it over using a Q-tip dip and it looks top shelf, spot on.
I bought this ink because of the color and the name, PENCIL.
I think it is kinda whimsical to use a grey ink called Pencil in a fountain pen.
I would like to add that I recommend one to have this in their collection of ink.

I got Sea at Night and it's beautiful. It's a dark blue, so dark it looks black, with a red sheen that comes out on every paper I've tried (Stalogy, Tomoe River, some note pads). It's a well behaved ink too, and Ive seen minimal smearing after drying, unlike OS heavy sheeners.

After a few days without use the ink leaves a powdery schmutz on the nib and requires a full cleaning. The colour is nice but not worth the trouble.

Great ink!! Flows well, not too wet and dries quickly. Deep rich color. This is my first bottle of Krishna inks and for sure won't be my last.

Krishna Super Rich inks are some of my favorites! I have purchased several, and Vaikhari is my favorite of those I’ve tried thus far. It sheens different colors, and is just beautiful. They are a little thicker then most inks and dry quickly, IMO, but in wet writing pens they work beautifully.
