Aurora Bottled Ink(45ml) Fountain Pen Ink Reviews

If you are looking for a smooth and very black ink, then this is the right one for you. Aurora black is easy to clean from fountain pens and behaves well on any paper. This ink has become my go to black. It is dependable and I love how well saturated it is. I'm currently using it on a Lamy Safari with a fine nib. Thanks Pen Chalet for the excellent service.

I personally like to have an excellent contrast of a deep rich color against the paper for visibility and clarity in reading the written word. Aurora Black is the best black ink I've found to do just that. It maintains a tight line with a rich deep dark black. Its an excellent black ink. The company may wish to redevelop the bottle it comes in, as it resembles an enlarged bottle of the model paints I purchased when I was a kid. They have an excellent elegant product here, why not bottle it as such.

I'm pretty new to fountain pens but I've tried quite a few black inks. Before trying this one my favorite was the Noodlers Black. This is just as black but just seems to flow so much better. It's not archival ink and is not water proof. But the lines are excellent. Pens that did not write well with my Noodlers came to life with this ink! I highly recommend giving it a try. Personally, it's now the only black I'll use.

I love the Aurora black ink! It creates a super dark line and has to be my favorite choice for a black fountain pen ink. If you have not tried the Aurora black ink I would highly recommend it.

After trying a few black inks, the Aurora is by far my favorite. It's a dark black that has a great flow out of my Lamy Sarafi F nib. I would order this ink again. Received the ink quickly and it was packaged very well. Thanks Penchalet!
