I used this in my Yookers felt tip pen. The ink is smooth, the cartridge itself is something I have never seen before. Most cartridges have the ink where it "moves" where this ink is, and this is the best way I can describe it, in a vacuum cartridge. The ink when I flipped it up and down did not move. I had to literally shake it hard for it to move. I think that this is a plus as far as keeping the ink "wet". Pardon my terms/descriptions of the ink. I think this feature is what keeps the ink so smooth.
The color? Eh,is a little light for my taste. I would use this more in the fall season as it is the perfect color to write cards, but I would not recommend using on anything darker than a pale cream due to it blending in with the card color.

J. Herbin knows how to make a great ink, and the whole series of shimmering inks are fantastic. Vert Atlantide is interesting because of the gold and silver shimmer, but the green ink itself is nice. It is a somewhat muted green, that is OK on its own, but becomes special with the shimmer. Herbin inks flow well, and I have used them in all types of pens without trouble. Still, you will probably want to use shimmer inks in pens you can easily clean.

Love this ink. It is green and smokey and sparklie. It writes well in all the pens I've put it in. If you don't want the shimmer, don't shake it. Cleans out easily.

I've been using Parker Quick for ages, and bought this on a lark. Now I'm hooked. All of my pens write more smoothly with this ink. The green is not very bright - in dim light it might as well be blue black. But it's wonderful.

I love Jacques Herbin Shimmer inks. They're all stunning. As long as I get them through Pen Chalet (because they truly have the best prices), I think I can work my way into getting the entire collection :)
