I have purchased all three pens in this series and they are all beautiful. I was hooked on the Gioia Métis pen when I purchased Dominant Industry/Gioia Atlantis Box set. The pens are a great weight and I am partial to the Broad nibs to let all the shimmer inks shine. Love these pens.

This is a gorgeous set and I'm really happy with the pen's performance and the beautiful ink that shimmers. What a perfect match. I chose the medium nib. It wrote flawlessly out of the box. It's a long pen, but not too girthy. The pen's resin sparklez and it has wonderful chatoyance. I'm thinking about picking up the Atlantic version next.

Took me a while to figure out that the barrel was not the secret to re-filliing. The end cap unscrews a ways but doesn't seem - to me - to get a very good drink of ink. A product use/owner manual would have been a nice addition.

I absolutely love this Gioia Italia pen with the Alchemist Elixir set! I inked the pen with the Dominant Industry Unknown Land and I found it to be so beautiful! It flows nicely from the pen as the pen glides across the paper. I am very pleased with this fountain pen set! I love Pen Chalet!

The Gioia Métis Song of Atlantis is the pen in my collection that most of my pen pals are envious about. This is the longest pen I own, but it is lightweight and not awkward to hold. The nib is pleasantly smooth. The piston is hard to track sometimes but can be solved by trial and error.

The Gioia Métis have become my favorite pens. I own both these sets and would not hesitate to buy another Métis. The resin is gorgeous and the nibs write like butter. They are a quality build and the Dominant Industry inks are beautiful. Both inks give the illusion of being in the water. Think scuba diving on a sunny day when all the colors in the ocean sparkle. The Atlantis ink is a teal with a lovely blue sparkle and shading. The Seaweed is a watery green with a blue halo and shading. In my opinion, both inks are saturated enough on paper without losing their “watery” vibe. The inks are pretty wet and smudge easily, especially in a juicy nib, so just make sure you give them enough time to dry.

This exclusive color Gioia Alleria (“Peacock”) is really beautiful to look out, multi-hued with lots of chatoyance (and fine glitter) that doesn’t show up on the stock photo. The pen itself is rather on the larger side (girthy) but is light enough to write at length. And boy does it write nicely. Very smooth, flowing, I haven’t had any skipping or hard start issues with any of the variety of inks I’ve used (I have a medium). The piston is smooth, it hasn’t given me any problems, and the pen caps in one turn so is actually useful as a notetaker too. I love this pen… it’s a shame that Gioia doesn’t seem toget the respect or attention it deserves for inherent quality, looks, and value.

I just received this set today! The journal and stamp are nice but it’s the pen and ink that got me excited. The pen (M) nib writes beautifully and what a knock-out iridescent resin! This is my tenth Gioia pen and I love the brand. This is only my second Dominant Industries ink. I thought it would be really pale but it’s quite legible - I just ordered another bottle! I’d highly recommend this package!

This has to be one of the most stunning fountain pens I've ever come across! Incredible colors, pearly and sparkling...just like a peacock. Great depth of shading. Writes very well. Had never tried this brand before...was a little scratchy at first but now it's super smooth after applying a micro-sandpaper to the nib. Such a joy to use and display. My new fav! I got lucky and got number 50/50. Woot! Glad I didn't miss this one!

The Gioia Metis is an absolutely gorgeous pen. The nib is glassy smooth and the piston mechanism works well. The pen is large enough that it does not need to be posted, though it can be done. However, this makes the pen very long, and it posts onto the piston knob. I highly recommend picking one of these pens up, this is a great value at full price, and when on sale it is a must buy.

It's such a wonderful fountain pen... It's a pen that looks much better in real life than I've seen on the screen. There are some shiny pearls... a pen that looks like a good combination of different colors. I ordered a medium... well... I think it comes out a little bit thick. I have some regrets about ordering F, but I can't even get it because it's out of stock now... I love it so much that I feel good every time I take notes.

I was iffy about this pen because it the steel nib, and I am not familiar with the company. I write a lot everyday and I often have to refill pens, but I’m a therapist and I write in sessions so I can’t get up and refill pens. I have a number of pens as back up and thought I’d use this in a pinch. However, it’s a good pen. It’s oversized and light. I use it unposted. The nib is a little stiff, but it is medium so is wet and moves smoothly. It is very reliable, which is imperative. I can’t fuss with my pen in sessions. They have to always work easily, and this one does. I’m glad I got it.
