The beautiful and stunning finish used for the Tango Imagination pen collection is a new technique Waldmann developed that begins with engraving intricate details along the sterling silver body of the pen that seems to "do the Tango" when the light hits it just right. The engraving is followed by a layer of colored lacquer, which is then shaved down to highlight the detailed engraving. Waldmann finishes the design with an application of clear lacquer to protect the detailed design.
The inspiration behind the Waldmann Tango pen design is the world's most expressive dance, the Tango. So it's only natural that this particular pen design is both spirited and sensual. Each Waldmann Tango Imagination ballpoint pen is made with a 925 solid sterling silver chassis and a steel tension clip with platinum-plated components.
