Love love love my tiny glass muddler! I now own three of them as they have quickly become my favorite for swatching inks. Just make sure you have a pen rest nearby to set it on. My first one I sent flying across the room on accident because I did not see it and bumped it with my arm.

Love these colors! Crimson is beautiful and deep and the Citrus is bright and juicy. Dominant Industry inks perform well and are my favorite inks.

Love this color! Reminds me of swimming in teal waters while streaks of sunlight shine through. A watery (low/medium saturated, not too transparent ) blue-green shimmer.

Lovely wooden stamper. Does well with an ink pad or if you choose to use a paint brush to apply a color.

A beautiful soft copper colored shimmery ink. Behaves well and gives an antique flare to your writing (in my opinion).

It's a nice bright blue but the shimmer doesn't really come across when swatching because it falls back to the bottom of the bottle very quickly. I'd call it a brighter version of Wearingeul's 20,000 Leagues under the sea.

I’ve both the Fairy Forest and Autumn Forest inks from the Pearl series. They’re both lovely and well behaved in pens with M, B, or stub nibs. Autumn Forest is particularly beautiful, the fine shimmer is well distributed in the writing.

The glimmer pink "Daydream" is my favorite ink. I heard they were retiring it, so I had to get another bottle. Love it!

A nice small Muddler for swatching inks and doing a quick test-write without having to fully ink your fountain pen.

I have a few different Pearl series inks, and they all flow well, with plenty of shimmer. The Christmas Red is a real red, doesn’t lean too pink or too burgundy. The Lapis Lazuli is a beautiful cerulean, and Sunset really does look like its namesake.

Dominant Industry’s Unknown Land from the Log of Elixir: Archiving series is unlike any other ink I’ve used—it doesn’t just write, it evokes. From the moment I swatched it, I felt like I was looking at a watercolor wash from an old explorer’s journal or a fantasy map. The color is hard to pin down in the best possible way. It sits somewhere between a muted gray-lavender and earthy mauve, with delicate undertones that shift depending on the lighting and paper. There’s a softness to it that feels aged—almost like fog rolling over forgotten terrain. The name Unknown Land fits perfectly; it feels like something between history and myth. I inked it up in my Monteverde MP1 OmniFlex, and the ink flowed beautifully—no clogging, no railroading. It’s moderately wet, which paired nicely with the flex nib and brought out a touch of natural shading. It felt expressive but still refined, and I found myself slowing down to enjoy every letter. Dry time was decent—about 12 to 15 seconds on Tomoe River, and a little faster on Midori and Rhodia. No feathering, no bleed-through, and just the faintest ghosting on thinner paper. It’s a well-mannered ink despite its artistic leanings. The presentation is another standout. Dominant Industry really leans into the experience—the 25ml bottle feels like an apothecary vial, and the packaging is beautifully minimal and tactile. It’s not just ink, it’s a whole mood. Final thoughts: Unknown Land is a perfect example of ink as a storytelling medium. If you enjoy moody, atmospheric colors that make you pause and look closer, this one belongs in your collection. It’s not your average daily driver—but if you like to journal, sketch, or just slow down and let your pen wander, this is a gem.

One of these, the Celadon, was a beautiful surprise. Usually, this bottle annoys me, and the cost is too high, given how good Colorverse inks are. But, I love Celadon.

Five out of five stars! This device is wonderful for sampling and swatching inks. It has completely revolutionized how I view all of my inks. Two suggestions: keep it in a fountain pen box for better protection (the box it comes in isn’t all that protective), and if it ever comes in a longer size, get it. I find it possible to write a few lines of ink with this, but holding it for a long time in that way isn’t ideal. Otherwise, get this!

This is fantastic paper for ink samples. Very smooth no feathers or bleed through, shows incredible shimmers and true colors. The only con is drying time so I won't be using this for journaling.
