3 Oysters Pens

If you are looking for a 3 Oysters item not listed on our website contact customer service. We are often able to get 3 Oysters pens and inks not listed.
The 3 Oysters company creates fine fountain pen ink made in Korea. In Korea they compare good things to honey. The idiom "to put a honeycomb in the house" means to hide good things. In the West, good things are compared to an oyster. Oysters have hard shells and are hard to open, but with the right tools the job is easy. So why 3 Oysters? The name comes from the 3 tools used in writing: pen, ink, paper.

Beautiful ink, but it is on the dry side, so it clogs nibs easily if you keep the pen unposted (not good for taking notes in class). Also prone to smearing when dry. But, best Shean possible, so it depends on what you want, if your nibs can handle dry ink and how you will use it.

I use it almost every day. It's a great purple and aptly named as it really does look like a Delicious Red Wine!

3 Oysters is my new favorite ink company. In the I.Color.U series I have tried Gogung, which is an amazing glossy brown, like fresh-roasted dark coffee beans. Doldam is one of the richest inks I have ever seen, a medium gray with yellow-green shading and even some blue.

Slightly more orange than berry tones to this red. The color is beautiful and very much like gochujang (the spicy Korean condiment).

this is yummy ink, but like so many in this color spectrum (scarlet) it smears. I have it in one of my favorite pens and use a blotter under my hand when i use it (i'm left handed)

I purchased each ink after seeing “Mountainofink” reveiw and was so pleased I ordered more as gifts! Rich colors and gorgeous sheening! Some do smear later if rubbed but whatever!

I really like the shade of green and the coverage. I'm selective with my colors, so this was important to me.

I got two of these- Walden Pond & Santiago seas- and they both really surprised me. They are super dimensional, gorgeous, smooth and highly pigmented. I love the way Santiago Seas looks and find it nearly impossible to photograph accurately. Both inks are incredibly unique and gorgeous.

These inks are soooo beautiful. And naturally everyone on the planet was out of them but Pen Chalet had them! Whoot! I got Waldon Pond and wowsers.... it sheens as nicely in writing as it does in swatches. I highly recommend anything Organic Studios makes.

Like most Organics Studio inks this one is great also. It changes colors a bit as it dries to a color somewhat darker with a reddish sheen. Rotate the paper slightly and see the color change. Very appealing. Dark turquoise blue with a reddish hue as it dries.

I am just using the 3 Oysters Namsan ink. It flows great and is a good quality ink. Very nice dark/blackish green color. Similar to Robert Oster River of Fire, though 3 O. is a bit more greenish.

Like all Organics Studio inks this one is great too. I do enjoy writing with it. I would caution snyone who is interested in these inks that change color as they dry or as you rotate the paper, I have found the 3 that I have to be quiet similar. HDT, NITROGEN, RWE. Especially RWE and Nitrogen. Good inks though..

I love all of the organics inks and Copper Turquoise did not disappoint. Beautiful pale blue shimmer with just a hint of turquoise. Pretty, pretty!

These inks, y'all...!! So incredibly beautiful and shimmering. I've had good luck with each of the Organics shimmers I have: Nitrogen, Walden, Thoreau, and others, even with fine nibs on the Metropolitan and other cheaper pens. Especially beautiful in the flex and music nibs that put down a lot of ink. These have become my go to ink for most of my pens just because they are always beautiful on the page. Just be sure that you open the bottles with protection underneath and dispose of it after filling - these bottles tend to dry a bit around the lid so they leave tiny bits when you open - these inks are so richly pigmented that even one tiny fleck with blow up into rich color if it is pressed or especially if it gets wet, so it's important to be careful with them and protect surfaces, clothing, etc., but totally worth the effort and enjoyment of the writing experience.
