Inspired by one of the most renowned figures of the Florentine Renaissance, Lorenzo 'Il Magnifico' de' Medici, the Visconti il Magnifico collection personifies the essence of the Renaissance period with stellar combinations of luxurious, precious materials. For the Il Magnifico Egyptian Marble fountain pen, genuine Egyptian marble is complemented by an aged bronze cap and trims.

The Visconti Il Magnifico Egyptian Marble fountain pen celebrates Lorenzo de' Medici's passion for art and Florentine tradition. The pen's barrel is made of fine Egyptian ‘amber’ marble known for its delicate streaks ranging from amber to sepia hues that give the fountain pen a delicate, elegant appearance. The marble body is formed using specific, high-precision machinery. The octagonal-shaped body is inspired by the Baptistery of Florence. Lilies symbolize the city of Florence, so it's only right that they are meticulously engraved on the pen's aged bronze cap. The iconic Ponte Vecchio clip is plated in yellow gold and embellished with ivory enamel for a perfect contrast. The top of the cap is enriched with the Medici family's ancient coat of arms.

The Il Magnifico Egyptian Marble fountain pen features Visconti's in-house 18kt yellow gold nib (available in varying sizes), Visconti's famous power filling system, and hook safe lock.
