The iconic Homo Sapiens Bronze Age fountain pen has been uniquely modified with the addition of a solid bronze blind cap and packaged with a matching Homo Sapiens traveling inkwell. Both the pen and inkwell are hand-crafted from Mt. Etna lava rock and completed with solid bronze trims. The set is highly collectible and limited to just 300 pieces.

The Homo Sapiens Travel Edition Fountain Pen also comes with the classic Visconti 'Hook Safe Lock'. This revolutionary system locks the pen in the cap preventing accidental unscrewing and leakage without making it any harder to remove the cap. The clip on the Homo Sapiens fountain pen is the traditional Visconti clip shaped to represent a bridge symbolizing friendship and diplomacy. Pens also feature the patented Visconti power filling system and an 18kt rose gold nib to match the pen's trim. Made of titanium, the vacuum power filler is even designed to resist ink corrosion.

The Homo Sapiens Traveling Inkwell was originally designed in 1997. Visconti launched this new traveling inkwell made of volcanic lava and solid natural bronze materials to match this special edition Homo Sapiens bronze age fountain pen. The traveling inkwell allows the user to fill the reservoir of most piston-filling fountain pens in an easier, cleaner, more efficient, and more satisfying way.
