Parker Quink Bottled Ink(2oz) Fountain Pen Ink Reviews

This is just perfect. I want to like the fancier stuff but this is just awesome. Always in rotation and top of my “I will always have a bottle even though I have 20 other Blue/Blacks”. Japanese EF to a 1.1 Stub always starts, no stain, quick dry, business like.

I like this ink, but outside of the box it came in, I couldn't find anything that says it's Blue/Black. It looks more black on my test sample I made, but hey, I don't care, I like this ink :-) . It flows really well in one of my older Parker pens and better than most in my "Newer" Parker Sonnet ~ Resin fountain pen. Seems to be a wetter ink, and if if keeps the pens writing after they've been sitting awhile, I'm all for that. Good price too, excellent value. I even like the bottle :-)

Great workhorse ink as long as your paper is fountain pen friendly. I liked using it in a Platinum Preppy in eyedropper mode. That ink lasted me for years inside that pen without issues.

Parker Quink is my "go to" ink. I've had fountain pens that wouldn't write with any other ink. New inks may be trendy and colorful, but Quink is always reliable. If you have a fountain pen that skips or dries out regularly, don't throw it out before trying Parker Quink.

I have found that this ink flows very well. Other inks have taken time to flow from the nib, which is frustrating. I purchased this for my Parker and I'm glad I did.

This is a very reliable, safe ink at a good price. Used in my Waterman Expert (medium nib), it looks a little gray (I seem to have a very light touch with the Waterman). But with my flex nib pen, it is a dark, true black. It is extremely water-soluble,so if you need something that can stand up to moisture, this is not it. However, this has been one of my go-to inks for everyday writing for years and easily washes off hands, most clothes, and most surfaces.

First time I have used Parker ink. Filled a 1937 made Vacumatic. I like the ink a great deal. It is lighter in color than Waterman Serenity Blue. It is smooth to write with and I have heard that it is easy to clean out.(of course cleaning a vacumatic will never be fun!) Pen Chalet is a great place to purchase pen products.
