The turquoise/turchese ink is a lovely, bright ink. It is fairly "thin," so it does not produce much shadowing or shading. I have used it in several pens and am happy with the results. The color is much bolder with a medium or broad nib. I have not seen any sheen on the various papers I have used it on.
