Even though I have a similar pouch, of basically the same dimension, I can fit two medium size pens, or a large (Pelikan M1000), and a medium size (Pelikan M800), since it has a lip that prevents the pens from rubbing on each other when putting them in or out of the pouch.

The pouch is elegant and very convenient, in high-quality leather. This is a pouch for carrying your pen in your bag or briefcase, as it is probably a bit bulky for putting in a pocket.

This case with the Green band is somewhat tighter than the earlier case I purchased with the black band. They are the same size, but this one will be snug until is is used a bit. It holds 3 pens easily if they are not all huge. One huge, one near huge and another mid-size fit nicely. That is - a Conklin All American, a Conklin Duragraph and a Waterman Phileas.

This pouch is quite nice, well-made and holds larger pens like the Conklin Duragraph, All-American. I have stuffed it with 2 Duragraphs and an All-American. It is well-padded.
It is too large for a shirt pocket but fine for a coat or vest pocket. I keep it in a handy desk drawer to protect the pens from my metal desk. The item is all Black, unlike the item pictured,the Pelikan emblem unobtrusive, since I own no Pelikan pens.

I managed to acquire a couple Pelikans and this pouch seemed like a worthy investment. It seems very well made and quite convenient for carrying just a few pens.

I find this is the perfect single pen case for my Pelikan. I ordered it for my M1000 and it fits perfect which nobody tells you in their product description. I only found one video review and the person did not think or know if an M1000 would fit. Well I can tell you it fits perfect. Closure is secure and the case is well padded to protect your pen. I give it a 9 out of 10. The 9 is because it has an odd odor which is dissipating.
