The Field Notes Spring 2021 Quarterly Edition FIFTY Back to Basics notebook set commemorates the forty-nine previous releases in the ongoing series of Field Notes. It all began with the "Butcher Orange" way back in 2008. With FIFTY Back to Basics, Field Notes is going back to the basics with their notebook 3-Packs.

The Field Notes FIFTY Back to Basics 3-Pack notebooks feature simple, beautiful, "Red Hot" French Paper Co. covers with silver metallic ink. Each of the 3 included notebooks has 48 silver graph grid pages. The metallic ink on the red cover 1st appeared in Field Notes' 5th release in 2009, "Just Below Zero."

The FIFTY Back to Basics 3-Pack is the first time Field Notes used Pop-Tone “Red Hot” stock. The FIFTY notebooks also feature an almost-blank flyleaf, with a Futura “50” peeking through a die-cut circle. Each 3-Pack contains three different flyleaf colors recalling a specific Quarterly Edition: Safety Orange from “Dime Novel,” Nightshift Blue from “End Papers,” and Gumdrop Green from “Grass Stain Green.”
