About the TWSBI Diamond 50ml Glass/Red
The Twsbi Diamond 50ml Glass/Red Inkwell has a black anodized aluminum lid with red accents. The perfect accessory for any fountain pen, Twsbi's Diamond 50 inkwell's integrated internal reservoir is designed to make filling your fountain pen cleaner and easier.
When using the Twsbi Diamond 50ml Glass/Red Inkwell to fill your fountain pen with ink, simply turn the capped bottle upside down (before uncapping the inkwell). This allows ink to fill the internal reservoir. By filling your fountain pen directly from the Twsbi Diamond 50ml Glass/Red Inkwell's internal reservoir, you avoid attempting to reach inside your ink bottle to fill your fountain pen and makes it significantly easier to get every last drop of ink.
While the TWSBI Diamond 50ml Glass/Red inkwell can be used for most fountain pen brands, Twsbi owners have one more design element to consider. The colored band attachment allows you to fill Twsbi pens by removing the front section and attaching the pen directly to the filling apparatus.
The TWSBI Diamond 50ml Glass/Red inkwell holds approx. 50 ml of ink.
Note: The lid on the Diamond 50ml Inkwell is interchangeable with the lid on the TWSBI 70ml ink bottles.

TWSBI Diamond 50ml Glass/Red Reviews
The TWSBI Diamond is such a simple and pragmatic design even someone as clumsy as I can fill a fountain pin without slopping/smudging ink all over his paws. It's a lovely piece of writing gear.

I own one of these already and just bought two more. I want different colors of ink in each one. That should tell you what you need to know about them. In case that's not enough though, here is more.
If you love fountain pens, as I do, you know that using a bottle of ink is the way to go over cartridges. While the little plastic guys have the convenience of being able to stick one in your pocket, or in some cases in the barrel of the pen, when you figure the cost per ounce of the ink, a bottle is dramatically more affordable. Using a bottle can sometimes be annoying, no doubt. Some people fear they will spill, I get that. Having had inky hands, I get that.
When I first learned about this bottle, the TWSBI Diamond 50, I watched a bunch of YouTube videos before I decided to buy it. It is designed to work with most TWSBI pens. I own a TWSBI mini classic. That design may cause some people not to consider this inkwell for their needs but it will work for you too. You don't need a TWSBI pen. Of course...you probably want a TWSBI pen if you don't have one.
The bottle has two lids. The first lid has a small port in it. That's all. So the idea of spilling it ends there. The pen just attaches to this port and fills from there. Magic. But, if you don't have a TWSBI the port is graduated, having a second step, that allows a standard (universal) converter to snap right in and fill from the port. So clean! I have found this works for universal and Visconti converters (standard, not deluxe. It will not work with the deluxe Visconti).
If you don't have one of those you can open the second lid and the bottle functions like a classic inkwell with full access to the ink.
It has a small plastic cone inside that you tip ink into (lid closed of course) and this allows you to use all the ink in the bottle. I suggest you watch some YouTube videos as well as they do a better job explaining than I do.
In summary - high quality materials, design, and function. Very well worth the money if you write with a fountain pen.
