Nemosine #6 Replacement Reviews
Excellent super smooth pen nib to get to replace pens with #6 nibs that just stink and don't write as smooth or well as your like it to.

The nib is very finicky to its perceived performance because of the ink flow thru.

These are terrific. Lovely design imprint. I purchased to replace the flex nib in Noodler's Ahab (i'm left handed so the flex is of no concern to me.) A nice step up, very smooth, and perform well once the ebonite feed was heat-set. Now writes like a more expensive pen, good size, not too heavy, and plenty of ink.

Easy to set onto a good feed, well made and smooth writer directly out of the box. The stub could be a little “sharper” but overall a really good nib for a lower end pen. I use them in my Noodlers pens. These nibs will flex slightly with some pressure and seem to listen up with just a little use, recommended.

In my opinion. The Nemosine nibs are some of the best steel nibs available on the market today. Buttery Smooth right out of the box. No toothiness or flow issues. Just a killer writing experience that you can pop in any pen that accepts a #5 or #6 nib.

I got the 0.8mm stub nib. Initially the nib had very poor ink flow and was very scratchy. I realized it was because the tines were shifted too close together at the tip, which was quite easily remedied by bending them *gently* outwards with an edge of a wooden ruler (away from the feed). Need to make sure to bend just enough for the spacing between the tines to become parallel and not converging. After the adjustment, the ink flow is excellent, the nib is no longer scratchy, and the italicized writing comes out really nicely. This nib breathed a new life into a pen I was otherwise ignoring.

Smoothest nib I've ever used. Delivers a consistent line and lays down wet every time

The nib fit right into my Conklin Duragraph without a problem, and wrote spectacularly. I've no quibble with that part of the nib at all. My only complaint would be with the re-entry coloring process. My nib seemed to miss slightly with the process, nothing horrible, but it is noticeable that some regular nib color shows through where the coloring is supposed to be in two spots. It's not a deal-breaker, not even enough to return it for another, but it is a small detail that detracts slightly from the point of buying this particularly nib, the crazy color of it. Other than that, an excellent buy and a nib that writes very well. Thanks, Pen Chalet!
