About Clear Demo Noodlers Ahab Brush
The Noodlers Ahab Brush pen comes with a brush tip as well as a rollerball tip on all colors except the clear demonstrator. The pen uses fountain pen ink and has a piston-style plunger for use with bottled ink.
To swap between the brush writing tip and the inkball tip, simply unscrew the front section from the grip and attach the other writing tip. There is a small tube that will need to be moved from the one tip to the other as well. Of course, it is best to perform this when the pen is empty.

Noodlers Ahab Brush Reviews
The Noodler's Ahab Brushpen is very nicely made and will last longer than a typical waterbrush. The brush is a big size round brush. It's great for filling in a large space with ink. It is harder to do lettering with this brush size. I own the 308 refillable cartridges and thought these will be great to do ink swapping with the Noodler's Ahab Brushpen. I haven't tried it yet but you probably need a sink to clean out the brush with water between ink changes. It seems straight forward enough.

This pen smells. Bad. The section also arrived with two hairline cracks running on it, which immediately makes it look cheap. It did not, however, leak. It has a good size and weight to it. The brush is a little long for me. Once loaded with water, it behaved like a lot of brush pens I’ve used, staying in a relatively pointed point with pretty good springback. Did have any issues with flow. Piston holds a good amount of ink, and I like that you can see through the barrel. Gave this to my girlfriend so she could use it as a water brush.

Excellent gusher of a brush. It can be hard to control when you use a wet ink. But should be relatively easy to use, if you know how to use a brush pen.

The Ahab clear brush pen makes it easy to see how much ink remains in the push-piston ink cartridge converter, but its hard to get to the cartridge in order to replenish the brush with ink. The brush itself is not tapered to a point or have stiff brush filaments for good control.
