Noodler’s Ink is a low cost fountain pen ink that is 100% made in USA including the glass bottle and the cap. The philosophy of Noodlers is to create a quality product at a fair price. The design on the bottle depicts man's struggle with animal in the quest for fair play, thus the fair price of the Noodler's Ink.

Special Properties (listed alongside color):
Bulletproof inks are water-resistant (on cellulose-based papers). They also resist all known forgery tools (including UV light, bleach, alcohol, and other solvents). Bulletproof inks may still be vulnerable to smearing when exposed to water.
Waterproof (WP) inks aren't just resistant to water, they are not affected by water.
Eternal (E) inks are designed to resist the effects of time. Often referred to as archival ink, eternal inks are fade-resistant and unaffected by humid or acidic conditions.
Freeze Resistant (FZ R) inks are formulated to resist freezing at extremely low temperatures. Normal inks can burst a pen or ink bottle when exposed to very low temperatures because water expands when it freezes. Noodler's freeze resistant inks may form some harmless ice slush at very low temps, but it does not expand.
Lubricated (L) inks are specially formulated to lubricate the pistons of a fountain pen's piston-filling system or converter for a smoother operation.
Fluorescent (FLRS) inks glow under some UV lights.
Forgery Resistant (FG R) inks are resistant to lasers, alcohols, and solvents often used by forgers or check-washers.
Water Resistant (WR) inks resist smearing or fading when exposed to water, but they aren't necessarily waterproof and may still be slightly affected.
X-Feather (or "anti-feather") inks are more viscous than typical inks and feather less; particularly on highly absorbent paper.
Fast Drying: Fast drying inks dry at a much faster rate than the typical fountain pen ink. In most cases, a classification as fast drying indicates an average dry time of 4 seconds or less.
NOTE: In early 2022, Noodler's released two new inks to their regular lineup: 1984, and Censor Red. 1984 was inspired by limited edition ink releases of the same name in 2021. The 2022 release of 1984 ink is a deep purple that bleeds red. The 2022 release of Censor Red is a fast-drying bright red ink.

Im left handed so Noodlers is my go to. This lovely yellow/orange does not disappoint! I like it better in a med point rather than an f or ef nib. You need the extra width of nib to get strong color. Noodlers cant be beat :)

Noodle's X Feather Blue will from now on be my main ink! I've been using this ink in one pen for almost 2 weeks straight it writes really well in all of the paper I've thrown at it. It has a small amount of sheen and it's very subtle. It's slightly harder to clean compared to the rest of my inks but it's very much worth it for the way this ink handles and looks.

First off, when it comes to Noodler's ink you get what you pay for. I don't know how they fill a bottle that full, I really don't. You might even want to be careful when you open the lid so you don't spill it. The ink is right at the top. Also, as a general rule Noodler's is a great ink. It flows well and dries quickly. The color is always clean and clear.
I keep green, brown, and black on hand. There are several colors of green. I have the Green Marine and the Walnut brown. The green is a really wonderful shade of green. It is green enough to be interesting but dark enough to still look professional.
