Key West fountain pens will be available in two different colors and each one is fitted with Nahvalur (previously Narwhal)'s in-house No. 6 fountain pen nib. Nahvalur (previously Narwhal) Key West fountain pens are cartridge converter pens and include a standard international ink converter. Key West pens are also compatible with standard international size ink cartridges.

I bought the one with the gold or sand color. The official name of the color is Islamorada, which is also the name of one of Florida's Keys. (Isla morada is Spanish for "purple island". So the name of the color is completely unsuitable to the color of the pen.) The gold sparkles in the whole pen seem to be on many levels. It comes with a converter, which they also make, and also a soft, snap-shut, faux leather case. Another very nice feature is the metal parts which have the threads at the end of the barrel to screw onto the section and also the cap. Those 2 latter parts are also metal. There are other pens with metal at the end of the cap, but it doesn't continue inside with the threads to screw onto the pen. (That is with the exception of all-metal pens.)
