The Monteverde One Touch Stylus Tool inkball pen is designed to use fountain pen ink cartridges and has multiple tools integrated into one pen. This pen is really cool. It has a lot of unique features to it. First you can see it has rulers on it. It has three different scales of rulers or actually four. It has an inch ruler with three metric scales.
It has a nice black clip on the black version of the pen and chrome on the silver and yellow. It has a stylus on the top of the pen. Then there is a small bubble level. You can see the small bubble move back and forth. You can check to see if your table or desk is level. The stylus top unscrews and underneath the top of the stylus we have a phillps screwdriver that can be flipped around for a standard screwdriver on the other side.
On the writing end of the pen it comes with a small cap. That cap unscrews. There is no way to post the cap so you will have to keep track of it. Then there is the inkball writing end or tip of the pen.
To replace the refill or add ink to the pen you simply pull the tip section from the barrel when the cap is in place. It is just a compression fit. Included with the pen is one ink cartridge inside of the barrel of the pen. You simply insert that ink cartridge by pressing it into the tip section of the pen. You then insert that tip section back into the pen to use it.

I do like the ingenuity of these inkball pens (I purchased 3 different ones). The write is a bit rougher than I had hoped and they were weightier than I had anticipated. I use them occasionally, but they are not my everyday go-to.

Very nice pen! I have the copper version. It has some weight to it which I like. It writes nicely. And I love the Inkball technology. I’ve even used the bit end already to tighten my glasses. I thought the tools were just a gimmick but at least one of them has already been useful. I originally bought it because it was a good price, it was copper, and I really like Inkball technology. I wish the One Touch Engage had worked for me. I am such a picky customer. Maybe the issues I had will be gone in the future and I will get one. Which leads to my last point. Customer service is amazing! They have worked with me on every single little issue I’ve had with my orders. That is the reason I keep coming back. If they are willing to put up with me, they are OK in my book.

These are great pens. They’re heavy in the hand, which I like. The ink ball has a screw-on cap, which keeps it from getting dry or leaking. It takes standard cartridges. There’s a rubbery stylus tip that hides a screwdriver with flat and Phillips tips. Having a little ruler never hurts, either!
I’m going to start giving these out with cartridges of ink as gifts. They’re just that good.

Just received my pen a few minutes ago. I love it. I just signed a letter and I enjoyed the smoothness. I did not have time yet to write with it, but I think it is going to be good.
Although the point says Medium it writes like a broad point.
The only thing I did not like is the cap. It will not fit over the stylus and I am afraid I will lose it.

Will the Monteverde One Touch Stylus Tool Inkball take a Monteverde converter or just the short international cartridges?A:
The Monteverde One Touch Stylus Tool Inkball will only take the Monteverde mini converter but you cannot draw the converter all they way as it hits the end of the barrel when you put it back on the pen. You would have to insert the converter and draw it all the way, then insert into the barrel before filling and mark when the converter stops and then do not draw past that point. It would be close to a full draw but not quite all the way.Q:
