This is the Thunderbird blue version of the pen. It is a nice sturdy pen. It's all metal so it's a little heavier pen and it feels really good in your hand when writing.
The pen comes with black accents along the pen with a black clip. Here on the ring we have printed Monteverde USA and on the back side is Invincia. On the top of the cap we have the Monteverde logo which is standard with a lot of Monteverde pens.
The cap unscrews from the pen. You can write with the pen with or without the cap on the pen.
This pen comes with a standard refill. It's a Monteverde G22 which is the Monteverde universal refill. It will accept any standard roller ball refill which makes it real easy to find inks for it. You can change that out if you want to change the color. If you would rather have a black or a blue or something different.
This is a great pen. It comes in a few different colors. It comes in a red as well as a stealth black. It also comes with black and chrome accents or black and rose gold.

Another impulse buy courtesy of insomnia. I was curious about the color and convinced myself I desperately needed a pen named after a cosmological phenomenon. I was not doing backflips over the refill the pen ships with, but I found a fineliner refill that makes this pen a pleasure to use.
