Pulling an aura of power, speed, and competition into the design inspired by the racing industry, Monteverde created a PVD-coated 304 wire-braided stainless steel sleeve (over the pen's brass barrel) using the same material prized in the racing industry for offering the best protection against mechanical damage. The advantage of 304 wire-braided mesh is its incredible durability and resistance against UV rays, abrasion, and chemical corrosion. It can easily be described as virtually indestructible. Each fountain pen is finished with a matte PVD coating to offer key performance features and additional vibrancy, luster, and durability. The PVD coating offers an added layer of protection and durability while also being very aesthetically pleasing. featuring a cap and front section made from sold brass and coated with matte PVD. A unique and attractive CARBON FIBER RING offsets the gunmetal trim to complete the race-worthy design.

The Monteverde Innova Formula M collection offers three color options: PVD black, PVD blue, and PVD bronze.

The capped rollerball accepts standard international rollerball refills (Monteverde G2 and W2 rollerball refills).

The Monteverde Innova Formula M rollerball pen is also available as a fountain pen or ballpoint. Each is packaged in a Monteverde pen box with a custom graphic sleeve.
