About the Monteverde Ritma
The Monteverde Ritma™ collection pulls energy from the minimalist movement of the 1960s and 70s with a straightforward design featuring clean lines and gorgeous colors. Perfect for those who prefer a well balanced and heavyweight pen, the Ritma is machined to perfection using a mixture of steel and aluminum. This minimalist pen design also boasts a postable, magnetic cap top, an anodized aluminum barrel with a matte finish, and gunmetal accents.
The cartridge converter fountain pen is available in a selection of black stainless steel point nibs: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, or Stub and uses a threaded ink converter or ink cartridge (included). Each Ritma™ pen is housed in a newly designed slim gift box.
*Monteverde fountain pens purchased in 2020 or later, may be packed in the "new" Monteverde pen box, a slim, black plastic box with a grey velvet lined interior. The black box is encased in a green/black cardboard sleeve featuring the Monteverde branding.

I bought this pen I purple from another company and I really enjoyed writing with it and I wanted it in blue and with a Nib size I would use more often. So I bought the Ritma In Blue with a Fine nib and it writes as well as the purple 1.1 nib I bought. I also liked that I got it on sale. Who doesn’t like a good sale.

Have the Black version. Looks stealthy, has a good weight to it. Magnetic cap works well with a cool pop when you uncap it. It's a metal pen. Minimalistic look.For the price it works well. I enjoy using this pen slot.

I love the substantial feel of the Ritma, and the photos don't adequately show just how nice the carbon fiber is. It is a heavy pen, but fir me, that creates a great feel. If you don't like a heavy pen, this isn't the one. I will add, as someone that is really into the presentation (I know some don't), I was disappointed with the external box. It is larger than the typical Monteverdi and solid, however, it is just a printed image to the carbon fiber pattern. Could be a Xerox B&W printed paper wrapped onto box. More integrity with box for the box finish, even just their logo printed or a typical box would have been better. Unfortunate detail.

I really like the pen with the stub nib. I like its weight, the magnet in the cap and how it fits in my hand. My only complaint is that the ink flow stops sometimes after I've been writing for a while.

This was my first Ritma and I totally am in love with it. I loved it so much, I bought 2 more of them from Pen Chalet. Solid pen with a fun to play with magnetic cap. I love the pop sound when you place the cap back on. Not too heavy but for sure a solid well made pen. I hope they come out with more colors. A green would be just awesome to add to my collection. Thanks Pen Chalet for the great deal and amazing customer service.

I liked this pen so much I bought a second one: this time blue.
I like a pen with heft in the nature of Mont Blanc or Waterman, and this one satisfied me in that regard. The magnetic air-tight cap is the first real innovation I have seen in a pen in years.

I don't mind the weight though I generally like the lighter pens. I do like the metal section better than I expected to, and the diameter of the section works well for me. It certainly looks different than all the other pens I have. After reading several other reviews concerning the converter popping lose causing leaks, I used a refilled Waterman cartridge (Long int'l) and stuffed a paper ball at the top of it to help prevent it slipping out of the section. Not sure it was needed, but for such a simple preventative step it just made sense to try. Writes pretty wet for an EF nib, with the Van Dieman's Eucalyptus ink included with this order.

Very nice pen. Need to handle with care to avoid scratching the metal finial at the bottom. Smooth writing and glide. Overall good price and product.
