Like a Porsche 9/11 or Jeep, this lamy safari has a timeless design. As a lefty, I appreciate the triangular grip section which makes writing comfortable. I will say that the white& red colors definitely stand out and can be loud. So buy at your own risk. I misplaced this pen at work and as a result am buying it's replacement. I love the cap bc it makes sure ur pen doesn't roll off the table.

I absolutely LOVE this ballpen. I have already been a loyal Lamy customer; I have their fountain pens from Safari, and 2000 line. Prior to this purchase, I had bought the Lamy 2000 rollerball and was a little dissapointed in that. Just like the 2000 fountain pen, it is not good choice for me; perhaps it's because I'm left handed and find the ergonomics off. On the other hand, I always appreciated the ergonomics, comfort focused design/pen grip/ triangular grip section of my Safari fountain pens, and similar this exact rollerball. I find using this rollerball to be very comfortable and practice for day to day use. The color scheme is catchy and not too bad either. I plan on purchasing the green limited edition as well if it's on a similar sale.
