The 2021 Lamy Safari Special Edition features colors that date back to the original release. The Lamy Safari's timelessly modern design created a stir during its original launch in the early 1980's. With black accents (including the prominent, spring-loaded clip and black steel nib), this avant-garde design is about to be more popular than ever.
The Lamy Safari fountain pen has a plastic cap and body with a stainless steel nib (black stainless steel for the 1st two 2021 Special Edition Lamy Safari fountain pen releases). Each pen comes with a Lamy ink cartridge, and is compatible with a Lamy LZ28 converter (for use with bottled ink).
The 2021 Special Edition Safari released in October 2021 has a glossy white finish paired with red trim!

I put a Lamy 1.5mm Italic nib on this pen and loaded it with a Lamy red cartridge because I forgot to order a converter. The red of this pen pairs nicely with the Lamy red ink. I am enjoying this pen a lot!
