This is nice ink,however it doesn't seem to flow well on regular notebook paper (i.e. composition notebook). I'm using it with a Monteverde pen, so perhaps that could be an aspect as to why it doesn't feed well.

I was so happy to find Pen Chalet. I had successfully used J. Herbin cartridges with my fountain pen a few years ago. When I ran out of the cartridges, I turned to a brand that should have worked with my fountain pen since both the pen and ink cartridges were purchased from the same company. They did not work, however; the cartridges would not stay in place. The company would not recommend any ink cartridges other than their own brand. Fortunately I kept the tin in which the J. Herbin cartridges came in and did a search for them. Pen Chalet was the top of my Google list and I was so happy to see how inexpensive the cartridges were as well as the wide variety of beautiful colors. The cartridges work perfectly with my pen and I expect to spend many happy hours writing with it. I also appreciate the prompt delivery and appropriate packaging of my purchase.
