This is a gimmicky ink that goes down yellow but rapidly turns grey. Thus making it more difficult to draw with accurately. Why did I buy it?

Classic Cassis Black, now one of my fave REDS. Currently in an old Pelikan stub calligraphy, and it continues to inpress with daily use. Those of us "into reds" will appreciate the solid and somehow nuanced line laid down, and the fatter, the better! KUDOS to Pen Chalet for offering these "tasters" for $3.50. Expensive ink, but real pretty. The tester-vial will load my Pelikan piston about 3 or four times, and good to the last drop.
